Payment of Bills

Customers may choose from several methods to pay their bimonthly (every two months) water bill.

Our preferred payment method is Autopay by E-check.  This method of payment is free for you, and efficient for your thrifty District to process.   Please see below.

1.  Online E-check and Credit Card payments can be made through our online portal vendor:  https://lustedwater.secure.munibilling.com/
   If the portal prompts you for a "code", look to the bottom of your bill to find the sign-in code.  
   Note:  Credit card payments will incur a 3% convenience charge.  E-check payments (checking account debits) are free to the customer.
   
   

2. Autopay:  sign up to have your checking account or credit card automatically debited every time your bill is due.  The debit will occur on, or within a few days after, the bill due date.  Use the link and instructions above and choose the Autopay option. 
   Note:  Credit card payments will incur a 3% convenience charge.  E-check (checking account debits) is free to the customer.
   
   

3. Online Bill Pay:  Through your personal bank website you may elect to make an electronic "Bill Pay" payment to Lusted Water District.  Follow your bank's instructions to set up Lusted Water District as a new payee.  After you receive each bill, you can request a Bill-Pay payment be sent by your bank to our office on your behalf.  Some banks will send Bill-Pay paper checks to us and some will send electronic payments.   We prefer electronic payments, if possible.
   
   

4. Personal Check:  While we prefer electronic payments and Autopay, we accept your payments by check or money order made to the order of:  Lusted Water District, PO  Box 2026, Gresham, OR 97030-0590.
   
   

No Cash Payments:  We do not have a secure office facility where we can safely accept or manage cash payments.  For the safety of our staff, we do not accept cash payments by mail or in person.

Bimonthly bills:  In our region water bills have traditionally been sent on a bimonthly basis (every two months).  We continue this tradition to reduce the cost of reading meters, preparing and mailing bills.
