The Board of Commissioners of Lusted Water District will vote on new water rates to become effective on July 31, 2026. Questions & comments will be accepted at the meeting or email Service@Lustedwater.com. Emailed comments will be read at the hearing. The proposed water rates would increase bills by approximately 11% and include a base charge of $148 (a $15 increase) for each two-month bill period, a first-tier usage rate of $7.25 per CCF (a $0.70 increase) for water use of 29 CCF and less, and a second-tier usage rate of $10.55 per CCF (a $1.00 increase) for water use of 30 CCF and above. The estimated impact of the proposed rate increase will be approximately $11.70 per month for the typical customer. One CCF = 748 gallon.
